OTS scheme 2022 UPPCL

Uttar Pradesh government announces OTS scheme 2022 UPPCL for electricity bill defaulters. Private Tubewell, domestic and small commercial consumers may avail up to 100% surcharge waiver on electricity dues, provided consumers clear their arrears at one go. Though all consumers having principal arrear below 1 lakh may get 6 installment facilities to clear their dues, all consumers (lmv1 lmv2, and lmv 6 having principal arrear above 1 lakh) may get 12 installment facilities to clear their dues.

lmv1 means domestic connection

lmv2 means commercial connection

lmv5 means tubewell connection

UPPCL OTS scheme 2022 last date

OTS 2022 has started on 01-jun-2022 and the last date of ots is 30-jun-2022.

What’s new in this OTS scheme 20212 UPPCL?

A registration fee is not required this time. Consumers may directly avail of the rebate/surcharge waiver. Suppose, a consumer is having a total of Rs.12000 dues including a 2000/- surcharge. He has to pay Rs. 10000/- only in one go. Earlier, the consumer has to register first with some the payment of the registration fee.
