BILL REVISION OF DOMESTIC (LMV-1) BILL UP TO 10 KW CAN BE DONE BY JUNIOR ENGINEER
Bill revision of Domestic Light-Fan Connection (LMV-1) bills up to 10 KW to the can be done by junior Engineer (Distribution) with the approval of the concerned Sub Divisional Officer on the on-line billing system. in this post attached letter has an order copy describing it. and also in Hindi order is mentioned below.
HOW TO DO BILL REVISION
Suppose the consumer meter gets damaged/lost or showing no display due to which bill is made on IDF bill basis. Then, for bill revision, we would need to take average consumption for three-month consumption but the average must be of the same season because consumption varies from season to season.
The Procedure of Bill Revision in case of Damaged/Lost meter
- The Consumer will be billed for the period between the date of the last ok reading and installation of the new meter. the revised bill will be made based on the average consumption and average maximum load of three previous billing cycles before the last reading-based billing. If in between a provisional bill was made then, that provisional bill amount shall be accordingly deducted from the final revised bill.
- if due to any reason the recorded consumption of the past three billing months before the date damage/Lost of meter is not available or available but partially, then the consumption pattern Shall be taken from an average consumption of new meter installed against the damage / lost meter.
- while calculating the average consumption of three months, the season also should be taken into consideration. because consumption varies from season to season. So three-month average consumption should be taken of that season, in which month, this meter was damaged.

Bill come as per reading. many a time consumption get increased. so the bill amount also. so reduce your consumption to reduce bill amount.
